TF Quest Release 16 Version 2.0

This blog post's cover art is of one of the new images of Barbara in the game, rendered (a long time ago) by Icarus.

There's still some more stuff cooking on the stove that we're hoping to have live and released before long, but it's not working yet, and it's again been too long since we last showed you what we've done, so here's everything that's working for now!

There's still a lot of 'hidden' work that's been going on behind the scenes with the new game, and we're also working hard on the side-stuff like Lesser of Two Eves and mods for Ditzy Dice. Rest assured, we are still working full time (and then some) to make delightful smut for all of you.

New Barbara Content

Barbara Isn't A Pushover

Having low favour with Barbara (without having betrayed her so badly that she now considers you an enemy) will make her usually prank or bully you when you come across each other. These will be minor annoyances like tripping you up, groping you, telling you how awful you look, and so on. This will also usually cheer her up, slowly improving her relations with you until you're properly allies again.

Top Heavy Barbara

New cutscenes for Barbara at her starting sluttiness level, almost all of which come with not-before-seen renders from Icarus:

Barbara can find herself careering towards you on rollerskates in the hotel. You can try to dodge her - this comes with a chance of the cursed rollerskates somehow ending up magically transferring onto your own feet - or you can try to catch her, which is usually easy enough if you're steady on your feet, and your dexterity isn't rubbish. But if you fail, you'll fall over and take some pain and health damage.

Barbara can interact with Icarus, showing her inflated, sensitive lips, which forces you to reflect on how you feel about oral sex (which impacts arousal)

[Inflation] In the woods, Barbara can interact with the aeromancer, getting inflated by a kiss and floating off into the distance, and then immediately causing the aeromancer to notice you. If you haven't introduced yourself to Barbara yet, this will place her in a random room in the woods, potentially making it more tricky to find her and initially introduce yourself.

[Pregnancy] After the scene in the training halls swimming pool, if she jumped in by herself and got pregnant, you can encounter her in the dungeon and she'll want your insight in whether to drink a potion of the womb given to her by the woods witch. There's a bad luck chance it's cursed, and she'll blame you and lose favour with you if it is and she drinks it with your encouragement. But if you encourage her and it's blessed, she'll lose the pregnancy and gain favour with you. You can also just get her to give you the potion.

If you are injured (3 body damage or more) and she notices you, and her feelings towards you are very high (probably because you've saved her from another predicament or two already), she'll ask you to sit on her as a stool to remove a curse that she's got following her. If you accept, it slightly lowers her feelings towards you (because it's so degrading for her) but you essentially get to heal up as if she was a kneeling stool.

Bottom Heavy Barbie

At maximum bimbo, if Barbara finds you with your tits exposed, your pussy accessible, and nothing stopping you from being fingered to orgasm, she'll endeavour to do exactly that. The first time, she'll ease you into it with a kiss, but after that, she'll just jump you if she ever finds you on your knees (and tits exposed and pussy accessible and not in combat or stuck in a trap etc). However if you pull away that first time she tries to kiss you, she won't try anything again (but you'll take a big favour hit, so she'll probably do some other annoying things).

Most Expensive Menus In A Sex Game (probably)

The benefits selection menu has gotten the full graphical treatment. There's a couple of missing bits of art but it's 90% complete and so we've included it in this release.

Spectacled Aeromancer

A new aeromancer can visit the hotel if infamy is enabled, or the doom quest is underway. She really appreciates having her research peer reviewed, even if it happens to be about you!

With infamy fetish enabled, cultists no longer waste their lives staring off into space. Now, they stare at their phones like any functioning member of society. Watch out, those phone cameras actually work!

Cyborg Templorg

Fans of mythical creatures may already recognize this, but for those who don't, the cyborg is a futanari knight from another land who hates demons and loves altar girls. Watch out for her counter attacks.

Nice Slimeshooting, Tex!

It's a hot summer, which means its a perfect time for strenuous physical activities involving water! Activate the slimeshooter fetish, and most NPCs will come equipped with a squishy little slime companion. They absorb a portion of everything you drink, and transform it into foul smelling goo that's perfect for blasting your enemies. Just make sure you drain it in a timely fashion, otherwise its liable to blast YOU with goo instead. Also, if you have to drain it in a corner or something, try to make sure nobody sees you. Nobody likes a jerk who leaves their smelly slime jelly everywhere...

...What do you mean that the menu graphics looks like a quick re-skin of the (now legacy) watersports fetish option? You can't prove anything!

Long But Not Endless (That's what she said)

The curse you can get from touching the hands of the statue in the woods that causes using magic to increase your hunger now eventually expires. But it hangs around for a decent long while.

Less Confusing UI

Bombs now have their colours in context menus (for example when you can gift them to someone)

Added little icons to help you tell when the button will offer a bomb / wand as opposed to attack with it.

Thank the Goddess

A blessed potion of the womb now terminates an ongoing pregnancy rather than pausing/unpausing it.

Princesses Can Purify Too

[Tentacle monsters everywhere] Players with the princess class now learn the purify spell when they walk past a tentacle monster spawner.

Answer The Call!

You know how when you summon a magic wand and you're not wearing headgear, a magical dress of impermanence can replace your clothing? Well now, if you zap a tentacle monster or facehugger with your wand while in this state, the heart hairpin will be summoned and you'll become a proper magical girl, and the dress will change its enchantment from 'impermanence' to 'confidence'.

Other Stuff

With legacy content disabled, spiral traps are now very convincing presentations.

Vampiress no longer does quite as much brain tingling

Vampiress domination scene no longer includes 2 semi dominance rolls.

[Slimeshooters] You can now look at your belly to get a (vague) idea of the state of your 'slime tank'.

Added unique flavor text for handjobs from the wrestler and gladiator npc's

Stealing from the museum store now progresses the stealing quest even if the vampiress doesn't catch you.

Evolved tentacle monsters are now immune to magical concealment. They can see into the infrared spectrum or something.

The Queen of Spades wench and the Workaholic wench can now put you in bondage after defeating you.

The Queen of Spades wench can now appear in the hotel.

The wench is now much likelier to use her safeword, even if she isn't capable of dick stealing.

As NPCs accumulate levels, it will become more difficult to tell when they're about to finish.

If you have a high intelligence score, you now have a chance to tell when an NPC is about to stop a handjob.

The enlightened gladiator and the wild gladiator are now willing to ride your dick, if it's 12 inches or longer.

Notable Fixes

Fixed a bug where crafting a smoke bomb made all other smoke bombs in your inventory vanish.

Fixed a bug where you couldn't spit or expel liquid into a container or pedestal in a mansion painting room (including, notably, the museum heist)

Fixed breast icon bug / divide by zero error

Fixed a bug where Training Hall tutors would almost never wander around.

Fixed a bug where the witch could demand you banish Barbara.

Fixed a bug where the dominatrix didn't go wandering after a while on most game difficulties.

Fixed a bug where the game wasn't correctly identifying the player as being a wanted criminal based on their hair colour.

Fixed a minor issue where, if an NPC wasn't the type to put you in bondage, it could still make you wear a chastity cage after a handjob.

Fixed a bug where, if you were craving semen and you automatically opened your mouth during a piledriver handjob, you could still choose to close it anyway.

Fixed a bug where, if you were gagged, you could still open your mouth during a piledriver handjob.

Orgasm Resistance Skill

The dominatrix doesn't understand how tough it is not to cum from anal, but that's only because she was playing an advanced version all along! Once you've had your first orgasm of the game, every source of sexual stimulation will help build up experience. The higher the risk of climax, the more experience you earn, and if you earn enough, your resistance skill levels up. But beware, if you cum *before* you finish your level, you lose all of your built up exp. You might even be able to cancel out an orgasm that's about to happen, though it might not be good for your brain...

Sold to the highest bidder

[Big Black Cocks] If you already have a tattoo, and don't have a left butt cheek tattoo, and have already met the pimp, when you get the 'bad' outcome when standing on the dungeon stage, you'll be sold to the pimp instead of the royal guard. Specifically, you'll be given a tattoo that marks you as his property. You'll also, if possible, be given the portal hotpants and a medium amount of debt to start passively paying back with your holes over time.

Also, if you have the aforementioned tattoo, don't try to fight the pimp any more. Whenever he decides to try to trip you up, it'll work with 100% success rate AND make you skip your next turn as you are made to kneel on command.

Also, NPCs no longer react negatively (or at all) when you expel anal creampies into the portal hotpants.

New clothing attribute 'of cumguzzling' makes (nearly) all drinks and potions (except other bodily fluids) taste and feel like semen, meaning you'll get a small amount of semen addiction each time you drink something. Currently this always appears on the cumslut collar. All clothing with a semen 'theme' will also have a bad luck chance of getting the cumguzzling attribute when created, and when an item transforms into an item with a semen 'theme' (including the semen patterned bag of holding). Even worse, the cumguzzling attribute doesn't disappear when the item transforms again into something different.

I wanna try that right away!

New debug command 'enchant [item of clothing]' allows you to set an item of clothing to have any of the 30+ enchantments in the game

Suit up and tonight will be legendary!

There's a new spell you can learn - mage armor. This invisible forcefield protects you from up to the next 4 hits you would take from enemies, and only costs 4 magic power to cast. The catch? When you cast the spell, all clothing that would prevent you from being categorised as 'naked' (so everything except headwear and shoes, really) that can be removed, is sent to the pink wardrobe, and you can't wear new clothes until the mage armor fades away (i.e. you take enough hits for it to fade away, or it fades away over time). Each item of clothing that prevents you from being naked that it fails to banish due to curse / glue / lock / etc, reduces the number of hits the armor can take by 1.

The 'barbify' debug command to sluttify barbara now cycles back to unbimbofied barbara if you use it at max bimbofication.
