Trap Quest Release 15 Version 2.0 (Hotfix 1)

Aika's brain is drained (and not by the new 'neuromancer')

Fuck me sideways, this was a painful release cycle. Aika genuinely thought this would be out before the end of July without much stress, but then rediscovered just how long it takes to add a new NPC, and just how difficult it can be to hunt down some tiny typos that cause catasrophic compiler failure.

But that's all in the past now. We have a shiny new version and are proud of it, so, um, better late than never?

A port is on the horizon!

We now have a talented coder called Luna working full time to reimplement Trap Quest in Godot. The goal isn't to bring you exactly the same everything in exactly the same form, but rather to move over most of the good stuff while also making everything better in so many, many ways.

In order to fund this exciting endeavour, we are adding some new tiers to the SubscribeStar. Essentially, by paying an extra $5 a month compared to the 'normal' tier, you can help make this happen, and also, of course, get some additional rewards - mainly things like early pre-alpha builds so you can see what she's doing, and also polls on what content you feel should be the highest priority.

Luna is making weekly progress reports on the #tq-port-announcements channel on our Discord server, and has this to say:

Most of what I've done so far is foundational. I've laid out framework for how modding support is done, cooked up a few UI panels, and worked on setting up rooms and monsters.

Hotfix Changelist 25/09/2024

Fixed a bug where in the pledge lesson, you could be offered the same pledge you just resisted again.

[Watersports] Implemented several more tweaks and improvements to NPC bladder and toilet use code. Notably, NPCs no longer all start at exactly 0 bladder and gain exactly 10 units of bladder per turn (which resulted in every single NPC hitting 1000 units of bladder and needing the toilet at exactly the same time!) And also, NPCs who need the toilet and are in the location of the toilet, but are watching you, will no longer just stand there and not use the toilet just because they're watching you. (Teachers would stand there watching you forever!)

MAJOR CHANGES

Skirt Length Code

The skirt length code got a full rework. Rather than labelling all skirts as either super-short (covers nothing), short (covers you while you're standing), knee-length (blocks kicks unless slitted) and hobble-skirted (blocks all leg attacks unless slitted), there's now two numbers tracking front and back skirt length from 0 to 10. Front skirt length decides how much your genitals are covered while standing, and (unless slitted) how much damage penalty there is to your knees and kicks. Back skirt length decides how much your asshole is covered while standing, and both asshole and genitals are covered while kneeling.

The one thing that isn't yet complete is making sure that every skirt and dress in the game has the absolutely perfectly correct skirt length numbers. Feel free to report the most flagrantly incorrect ones. I might even make a Discord channel for it.

The 'short skirts fetish' and 'no panties fetish' got a rework too, since we can now have more stages to the skirts one, and it made sense to rework the no panties one at the same time.

The short skirts fetish you can get (usually by being hypnotized) now essentially gives you a maximum skirt length from 1 to 10. The more times you get hit by an effect like this, the more strict the requirement will become.

Similarly, you'll first find yourself uncomfortable in fully covering panties, then briefs, then hotpants, and then finally not even able to wear thongs or g-strings.

A new wish with the djinn allows you to wish for these fetishes to be reset.

Many mannequins can now give you a short skirts fetish when they defeat you, if you get unlucky.

The lingerie-clad mannequin will give you a skimpy panties fetish when it defeats you (every time!)

The pink diamond 'pledges' lesson can now make you pledge to wear slutty (or if you're already committed to slutty, *very* slutty) skirts and/or panties.

Meet the Neuromancer

A new NPC - the neuromancer! Fuck me, now I remember why I didn't want to ever add another fully fledged NPC to the game. This took a while!

She can be found in the mansion region. For now, she always spawns straight away, so everyone can meet her. But in a few versions' time, I'll relegate her to only sometimes being in the starting lineup, like the hellhound.

Like many humanoid NPCs, she starts out friendly enough, but every time she sees you looking too slutty, her temptation to turn you into another one of her test subjects increases!

She likes to tweak with your mind, making you have aversions to wearing long skirts, or panties.

She can also make you kiss her feet and (if enabled) piss on you.

She is holding a new item - the 'hex dress'. This can be traded or stolen, and grants dexterity based on your magic power, as well as having the 'confidence' attribute! The skirt is pretty darn short, though...

If the doom ritual is not stopped in time, when the herald spawns, she will immediately enter a defeated state, implying that the herald has already encountered and fully fried her brain. Serves her right! Sluttified art by Borvar.

You cannot yet attempt to dominate her, but I'll write all the necessary sex scenes for this eventuallly.

Hidden Stashes

New skill that can be learned from the NPC 'adventurers' you encounter during your game (if you've enabled monster pregnancy and tentacles everywhere, they're the tentacle breeders you need to rescue) - spotting secret buttons.

After learning the skill, each region has one boring empty hallway with a button you can press. Press the button to reveal a hidden stash!

Each stash contains a craftable item and an item of jewellery.

...Except there's an 80% chance that one of them is in fact something a lot more to do with tentacles... And is sufficiently intense that it might make you think twice about pressing those buttons next time.

MINOR CHANGES

[Watersports] Framed for Floor Urination

If you walk into the academy toilets when the only other person there is a student who doesn't like you very much, and you have a hand slot free and no headwear, you'll probably find yourself in a tricky situation where the student has pissed on the floor, and then shouted to the headmistress that it was you, and you're stuck being framed for it unless you pick up the nearby spraybottle (which will give you the maid class) and get cleaning.

If the headmistress catches you and there's still a puddle in the toilets, she will call an assembly.

If you're not too unlucky, and haven't already had this assembly, she'll lock the toilets.

If you are unlucky, or have already had the locked toilets assembly, she'll declare that you are now a Free Use Urinal. For the rest of the game, NPCs in the academy region who need to pee will, when they notice you, demand that you become their urinal, and attack you if you refuse.

And if you're on your knees already, they won't even ask permission!

Woman in Black

Non-donators can now encounter the 'suited lady' in the hotel region.

Weird stuff might start happening to you spontaneously as you walk around this region.

Maybe check some camera screens to see if you can recognise yourself in any footage that you don't remember being taken.

Maybe you can find out how she's messing with you, and how to disable her powers.

Tongue Piercing Prevalence

The tongue piercing would hardly ever spawn, so added a more common (but hopefully not ludicrously common) spawn event.

When you successfully deepthroat a cock without gagging two turns in a row, and fail an 'unlucky' roll, the tongue piercing will spawn, if you have the piercing secret.

If you don't have the piercing secret, you have to fail two 'unlucky' rolls in a row (so approximately 1 in 16 chance).

Princess Bride is a Demon Worshipper

When you're the princess bride and you consummate your marriage, you become the princess concubine, which gives you the demon worshipper class in addition to the others.

This essentially just means that you can't attack demons.

That cameltoe is real

[Transgender transformations] Voluntarily wearing the tight blue exercise shorts counts as a (common) TG event, so it'll transform you into a biological female if you have common TG events enabled, or are at minimum penis size.

[Inflation & Artificial Enhancements] Augmented Inflation

Clothing with the augmentation attribute now prefers inflating you with air than silicone when you don't already have silicone implants, or the item is 'inflation themed'. The inflation is also now more significant, so hopefully can 'keep up' with the natural air inflation decay a bit better.

The flight attendant top and skirt (which just so happen to be inflation themed) now appear with the augmentation attribute when summoned by the fight attendant hat.

Who's That Robot?!

New art for the robobutler, by Borvar.

Everyone who doesn't read this changelist, and some of you who do, will be like "Woah, who's that sexy robot?! ...Oh!"

Also, the robobutler can now turn instantly unfriendly if you get unlucky after refusing a shot (for a short of urine, it still depends whether or not you are thirsty).

If it does turn instantly unfriendly, it'll lock a ring gag shaped like lips on you when it defeats you, as well as then following through with a normal punishment like forced bowl feeding or taking you to the security screens room.

Cat Burglar Minigame

The museum heist mission is now available to beta testers. There's a new painting in the mansion's private museum, and once you unlock the cat hood from its pedestal and wear it, you'll be able to enter that painting and try to obtain the very powerful headgear that's locked away in there.

This is a real challenge, so you'll probably fail the first few times you try. You need to carefully manage your stealth and transport milk, using your body, to the various places that require it.

We also finally found and squished the bug that made this painting often not work - it turned out that entering (and then exiting) any other mansion painting caused this one to lose all the environment objects that had been carefully placed in there when the mansion region was first set up.

More Barbara Scenes

You can encounter Barbara in the mansion, desperate to give you a sloppy semen snowball kiss. If you refuse, her wisp will trigger, and punish her.

You can encounter Barbara wearing the portal gear that the pimp likes to put people in.

Snap Snap

In the Extra Credit Zone, bystanders with cameras are now more likely to take a photo of you even if you only look a little bit slutty.

ALPHA TESTERS ($18-20 per month)

Stripper Cage Trap

New experimental trap in the hotel area - the stripper cage.

If you step on the pressure plate, you'll find yourself on a raised podium inside a cage, with several patrons surrounding you and watching you dance.

If you dance, it'll be humiliating.

If you don't dance, you'll get pelted with used tissues and condoms, and you'll get the extra-humiliating trashcan class if able.

If you strip / displace clothing until your boobs and genitals are on display, you'll get the stripper class. (This will stop the game being able to give you the trashcan class!)

Used Condom Collection

[Pinned used condoms] New ruby ranked (homework) lesson - condom collection.

All students are tasked with coming back to the next lesson with as many condoms pinned to their clothing as possible.

The student(s) with the least won't get promoted unless they drink all the cum from the condoms.

The teacher (who has a penis) puts a condom on their dick and gives someone the opportunity to get a headstart by giving them a blowjob.

If more than one student volunteers, the player is given the opportunity to wear a condoms dress to get priority.

Misc Improvements

When cheater / debugmode is enabled, when you enter a classroom, you get to choose which lesson you have.

Fixed a bug where the breastfeeding predicament piercings would continue to shock you after the predicament ended.

OTHER FIXES

Fixed a bug where fully breast covering clothing could still have nip slips.

Fixed an issue where after using the milking bench, sometimes you'd only replace the top layer of clothing covering your breasts, leaving the one underneath still displaced.

Fixed a bug where getting teleported out of the Iron Maiden could result in all your items getting stuck inside the Iron Maiden.

Fixed a bug where choosing to drop all your eggs on the ground only dropped 1.

Fixed a bug where NPCs removing a squirt dildo from your orifice caused an error (the squirt dildo is a vessel, not an item of clothing, which is always causing annoying bugs!)

Fixed a bug where the black glue trying to increase the size of your latex plug panties caused an error.

Fixed a bug where the robobellboy could drag you to an off-stage hotel room with a bed, in a void, with no connected rooms.

Fixed a bug where the shopkeeper wouldn't cycle the dungeon shop's inventory while the player was wearing any stealth clothing.
