That took longer than expected.

No matter how much older and wiser we get, the planning fallacy never stops catching us out.

Building this website took over a month longer than anticipated.

Developing a new proof of concept, took over a month longer than anticipated.

Getting the Wonderfuller window to work nicely with the new TQ GUI took over a month longer than anticipated.

In the past, delays have sometimes involved Aika getting distracted by a cool new ero game that they want to play through for 'market research'. But this time, Aika has literally been working flat out. It's just been even more difficult than normal to provide meaningful updates, because announcing this website was in development would have drawn at least a few people to check it out, while it was ugly, not functioning properly, and full of security vulnerabilities.

Anyway all this is just to say that we are truly sorry for the delay, and will attempt, and inevitably fail, to never fall for the planning fallacy again.

Moving on: New website, who dis?

This isn't just some crappy little blog Aika threw together in a few days like the last one. This is a sexy professionally made thing that we're quite proud of. And while it's still somewhat bare bones at the moment, it'll soon enough be full of blog posts, special pages, and the wiki.

And that's the boring news! The exciting news is that we are finally going to let you guys look at one of the projects we have in pre-alpha that we've been working hard on behind the scenes. This isn't The Big One - although that really is getting there and looking beautiful - it's something that Aika first dreamed up in.. gosh... Early 2019. A simpler time. And while we know that some subscribers are mainly here for the genderbending, most responded that they were indeed totally here for a game focused on humiliation, domination and corruption, if, like Trap Quest, there was a decent focus on the gameplay actually being interesting and forcing you to make difficult decisions and calculated risks.

So, let's find out what you think! While there still isn't that much content, there should be enough to give you a decent idea of what the game would be like with ten times as much content. The game is called Lesser of Two Eves and you can read more about it and try it out here.

Now, it is important to mention here that Patreon recently updated their terms and conditions with regards to erotic fiction and consent. Unfortunately LoTE does include non-con and therefore can only be funded via SubscribeStar. Essentially, the Trap Quest Patreon page is, just like it sounds, purely for funding Trap Quest development. To encourage us to put time towards any of our other projects, you must choose to fund us via the Shame Games SubscribeStar page.

As for Trap Quest, the Wonderfuller updated GUI version is just around the corner with a few small new pieces of content and a bunch of bug fixes, and after that we will begin work on the Keriax version and some larger pieces of content.

You've all been so patient and understanding with us over the last few months, especially the active subscribers, to whom we are so grateful, as we need every penny of funding right now after one of our Patreon pages was shut down late last year, throwing our cash flow and livelihoods into turmoil.

You're the best.
